Co-operation with Ars Electronica Festival

Since 2016 Anton Bruckner University has been hosting the Digital Music Focus and the ‘Sonic Saturday’ as part of the Ars Electronica Festival.

In the framework of the Digital Music Focus we organize the Sonic Saturday artists’ meetings to allow for informal, hands-on, in-person exchange of ideas. This we do in the form of workshops, lecture performances, installations, a listening room presenting multi-channel compositions and the Medium Sonorum concert of electronic music.

In these activities we aim at involving our students giving them an opportunity to work within the context of an international festival.
