The field of "jazz and crossover" is free to take the best of both worlds: from Jazz-Rock, including Pop and Folk Music - the huge field of refined rhythmic languages, the communication forms of improvisation, the management of the heritage of Tonal Music, from New Music the freedom of form and the intensive concentration on sound with the effects on new ways of playing the instruments.

Breaking out of the camps, by excluding various parameters of defined sound/noise languages with their established forms of dissemination, is obviously not easy even in the present. Thus "Jazz and Crossover Composition" still breathes the air of courageous pioneering deeds.
