Wilfried Brandstötter was born in Salzburg in 1970 and studied bass tuba performance at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna with Prof. Schafferer.

Founding member of the ensemble Mnozil Brass; circa 100 performances per year worldwide, projects for the Salzburg Festival and the RuhrTriennale, among others.
