Coronavirus-Notfalltopf für Studierende der ABPU

Deshalb hat die Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität zusammen mit der Studierendenvertretung und dem Förderverein UNIsono einen Notfalltopf für existentiell betroffene Studierende eingerichtet. Damit sollen jene Studierende grundlegend finanziell unterstützt werden, die aktuell ihrer künstlerischen Tätigkeit nicht nachkommen und somit keine Gagen oder Honorare beziehen können, um ihren Lebensunterhalt zu bestreiten.

Richtlinien und Kriterien

• Alle Studierende, die an der ABPU hauptinskribiert sind, können sich bewerben. Bezieher*innen von Stipendien können sich ebenso bewerben, die Stipendienhöhe muss angegeben werden.
• Das Ausmaß der Unterstützung hängt dabei jeweils von der sozialen Bedürftigkeit, der Höhe des Verdienstausfalls und der damit verbundenen Notlage ab.
• Erforderliche Unterlagen: ausgefülltes Antragsformular, Inskriptionsbestätigung und Kontoauszüge laufend ab 01.01.2020 inkl. aktuellem Kontostand (Details siehe Antragsformular)
• Antragszeitraum: 1. Phase von 23.3. bis 30.4.; 2. Phase von 1.5. bis 15.6.; 3. Phase von 16.6. bis 31.7. Pro Antragszeitraum kann ein Antrag gestellt werden.
• Antragstellung und Zuerkennung werden ausschließlich digital abgewickelt.

• Einreichung laufend möglich. Eine wöchentliche Abwicklung der Anträge durch eine eigens für den COVID19-Notfalltopf eingerichtete Kommission ist geplant.

Coronavirus emergency fund for ABPU students

The measures adopted by the German government in response to the coronavirus have not only changed everyday life in the short term, but also lead to financial challenges and existential problems for many students.

For this reason, the Anton Bruckner Private University, together with the student representatives and the UNIsono support association, has set up an emergency fund for students who are affected by the corona virus. This is intended to provide basic financial support to those students who are currently unable to fulfil their artistic activities and thus cannot receive fees or honoraria to cover their living expenses. 

Guidelines and criteria

• All students who are registered at the ABPU can apply. Scholarship holders can also apply, but the amount of the scholarship must be stated.
• The amount of support depends on the social need, the amount of loss of earnings and the associated hardship.
• Required documents: completed application form, confirmation of enrolment and bank statements ongoing from 01.01.2020 incl. current account balance (see application form for details)
• Application period: 1st round from 23.3. to 30.4.; 2nd round from 1.5. to 15.6.; 3rd round: 3rd round from 16.6. to 31.7. (one application can be submitted during each application period)
• Applications and awards are processed exclusively in digital form.

• Submission is possible on an ongoing basis. A weekly processing of the applications by a commission specially established for the COVID19 emergency fund is planned.
