Access:

Students and employees of the ABPU can access the products of our digital library both on and off the campus. At present it is only necessary to register (bruckneronline-login-data) if you are carrying out your research from outside the campus. You will not be required to log in until you have selected an electronic resource (there is no central access link).

 All the E-resources marked with this symbol are Open Access resources. You do not require a log-in to open them.

  • Dance in Video 
    Contains 500 hours of dance productions and documentation from the most influential artists and dance companies of the 20th century. The selection covers ballet, tap-dancing, jazz, contemporary, experimental and improvised dance, as well as precursors of modern concert dance.
  • Naxos Video Library 
    The video-streaming portal with over 1,700 films of performances of classical music.
  • Berliner Philharmoniker - Digital Concert Hall
    Personal registration must be made from the campus of the Anton Bruckner Private University. Then you will have access to all contents of the Digital Concert Hall both on campus and off.

    a database by EBSCO and BiblioLabs including more than 800.000 free electronic theses and dissertations (mainly in English)

  • University Press Scholarship Online
    By clicking on "unlocked" in the left-hand menu bar 232 books relevant to music will be displayed in full-text. The books are in English, and the collection is being continually expanded.

  • DBIS-Datenbank-Informationssystem
    Offers access to numerous academic online databanks covering every special subject. Among others, the databank RISM (international lexicon of musical sources) is accessible via DBIS.
  • Bach digital  
    The portal Bach digital offers access to a digital library with complete scans of works from a databank of hand-written sources with compositions of the Bach family/catalogues of the Bach family.
  • Bruckner-online
    bruckner-online.at is a voluminous Anton Bruckner internet portal (Webarchive) which contains - alongside the electronic documentation of  manuscript sources - compositions and details of relevant persons and places. In addition complete digital versions of all manuscripts, first editions and past complete editions are available. 
  • Open Music Library
    an initiative from Alexander Street bringing together free music scores, journal articles, books, videos etc. from various digital collections
  • RISM (Répertoire International des Sources Musicales)
    Around 700,000 entries on researching musical sources (above all historical manuscript music before 1800)
