III BNDES International Piano Competition of Rio de Janeiro

BNDES (National Bank for Economic and Social Development) and Arte Plena Institute will hold the III BNDES International Piano Competition of Rio de Janeiro in tribute to Almeida Prado from November 25 to December 8, 2012 at Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro and the BNDES Theatre.

Applicants who live in Brazil will be provided with air tickets by the Competition Board. Those with proof of residence abroad will receive a $500.00 (five hundred US dollars) grant for the sole purpose of purchasing their air tickets. This amount will be handed in to the candidates immediately after the eliminatory round.
